Bersagliere - Definition and Overview

The Bersaglieri are part of the Italian army created by General Lamarmora in the 18th century. They can be still recognized from the particular hat they wear covered with eagle feathers. They are also associated with a popular Italian song.

The Bersaglieri were used for the first time in Crimea, sent by Cavour. Their speciality is the fast moving they hold.
