Big Trouble in Little China is a 1986 comedy/action film, directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell and Kim Cattrall, set in San Francisco.
Kurt Russell plays Jack Burton, a likable truck-driver, who, together with his friend Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) must save Gracie Law (Cattrall) and Wang Chi's fiancée from an ancient and evil Chinese sorcerer, David Lo Pan (James Hong). Along the way, he encounters many battles and many opportunities to display comic machismo. Burton is aided by bus-driving magician Egg Shen (Victor Wong).
