William O'Brien (born 25 January 1929) is a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. He has been member of Parliament for Normanton since 1983. He has previously been a miner and councillor.

William O'Brien was an Irish writer, land reform campaigner and politician of the late 19th century and early 20th century.
