A bimbo is the archetype of the blond, female and often lightminded teenager, of which the loss of wits is often compensated by over than normal sex appeal, and is often used as a stock character for various comedies.

The movie Clueless describes is a typical form of a bimbo (also known as a valley girl). Christina Applegate's character in Married with Children is a exaggerated comic example of one.
