Charles E. Bolles alias Black Bart "the Po-8" was a poet and American Old West outlaw.

In California on July 26, 1878 he made his last clean getaway when he stole a safe box from a Wells Fargo stagecoach. The empty box was found later with a taunting poem inside. On November 3, 1883 he got away with his last stagecoach robbery, but this time he left an incriminating clue that eventually led to his capture.

For honor and for riches,
But on my corns too long you've tred
You fine-haired sons of bitches
