Robert "Bob" Montana was an American cartoonist who co-created Archie Comics.
He was born in Stockton, California, October_23, 1920, and died of a heart attack in Meredith, New Hampshire on January_4, 1975 while cross-country skiing.
As a teenager he attended Central High School in Manchester, the students and faculty of which inspired most of the Archie cast of characters.
