Bounded real-valued data - Definition and Overview

Data is taken to be either a scalar number, a vector or a matrix. Real-valued refers to the fact that all entries are real numbers. Bounded refers to the fact that for each entry we can identify two real numbers (which are by implication finite) such that one is strictly greater than the entry and the other is strictly less than the entry.
