Bracciano is located north-west of Rome. Bracciano is a small town (Pop. 22340) famous for its lake of volcanic origin ("Lago Di Bracciano" or "Sabatino" surface: 57 km2) and its medieval castle , built in 1426 by the Orsini family, later passed on to the Odescalchi family, it is in fact know as the "Castello Orsini-Odescalchi".
