Brod-Posavina county - Brodsko-posavska županija is the southern Slavonian county in Croatia. Its center is the city of Slavonski Brod and it spreads along the left bank of the Sava river, hence the name Posavina. Other notable towns include Nova Gradiška, Vrpolje, Slavonski Šamac.

County Prefect (upan)
County Prefect (upan) is chief executive officer in county responsability affairs and upan represents the County. County Prefect (upan)presides over County Government (upanijsko poglavarstvo) as county head administration. County Prefect (upan) is elected by the County Assembly.
Current County Prefect (upan) is Damir Bajs.

County Assembly is composed of 51 representatives elected every 4 years on local elections (proportional electoral system).
