Bushwar Bushwar

Bushwar - Definition and Overview

Bushwar is a mod for Battlefield Vietnam (2004) and for Battlefield 1942 (2002). The mods theme is about a South African fight against SWAPO, the MPLA and Cuba in the bush lands of southern Angola and northern SWA that took place between 1975 and 1989. The mod features mix of South African, Soviet, and other assorted military eqipment.

The mod started for Bf:42, with the major release being v.1 for that engine, however, a while after, development was suspended pending another dev team to work on the project. This happened and development was restarted, but development work was switched to creating a BF:V release. This culminated in the release of Bushwar v.2 in June 2004.
