Butch Vig - Definition and Overview

Butch Vig (born December 8, 1957) is a rock musician and record producer. Vig is currently a member of the popular group Garbage, but is perhaps most noted as the producer of the seminal Nevermind by Nirvana, an album which ended the glam metal era and brought grunge music to mainstream. Vig is a former member of the bands Spooner and Fire Town.
