Bydgoszcz-Toruń is the name of the bipolar aglomeration on the middle Vistula river, created by 2 cities: Bydgoszcz and Toruń, only 30 km away of each other. Those 2 cities are integrating gradually. in 2003 Medical Academy in Bydgoszcz joined Toruń University.
Total population is over 600 000 inhabitants.
