Cambodian New Year or Chaul Chnam Thmey (ឆលឆ្នាំថ្មី) as Khmers call it, is the name of the Cambodian holiday that celebrates the new lunar year. The holiday lasts for three days, from April 13th to 15th. Though the dates may be changed to be on the weekends to suit Khmers living in the US.
Maha Songkran
Maha Songkran (មហាសង្ក្រន្ដ) is the name of the first day of the new year celebration. It is the ending of the year and the beginning of a new one.
Vonnabot
Vonnabot is the name of the second day of the new year celebration.
Leung Sakh
Leung Sakh is the name of the third day of the new year celebration.
