Capital Punishment was Big Pun's debut album, released April 28 1998 on Loud Records. This album was responsible for making him the first Latino rapper ever to go platinum. A solid album of 24 songs that really displayed his skill as a solo emcee. There were only a few guests on the album (and none of which were celebrity) which meant it was mostly his own work.
Anyone who likes hip hop should consider owning this album just for some of the electric verses he pulls time and time again.
