Carla Howell was the Massachusetts Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. Senate in 2000 and for Governor in 2002. In 2000, she received 11.9% of the vote; she also fielded a ballot measure in 2002 that would end income tax in Massachusetts, but it failed with 45% of the vote.
