 Carling Premier - Definition

Carling Premier is a stronger version of Carling Black Label, but is smoother and stronger with an alcohol percentage of 4.7%. The strength was originaly 5%, but the alcohol was dropped some years back due to the high taxes on alcohol, so to make it more cheaper for the brewers they made it weaker. Unlike ordinary Carling, Carling Premier can only be sold in cans and the cans must be chilled for at least six hours. Once cold enough the can must be poured into a pint glass to be able to drink, because each can has got a widget in them.

Problems with Carling Premier

Carling Premier is not always an easy beer to keep, for example like in many pubs in the U.K the landlords stopped ordering it as they had trouble keeping it, because Carling Premier has to be served extra cold. If not, whislt trying to pour it from the pumps, you get nothing but all head and it all goes to waste, costing the owners of the pubs. Carling Premier is also not a popular as ordinary Carling by beer drinkers, although it's stronger in alcohol content, many drinkers have said that it's too smooth and that it has a very bland taste. As well as when ever you want to drink it, you always need a pint glass.
