Carrick-on-Suir (Irish: Carraig na Siuire) is a town in County Tipperary, Ireland. As the name – meaning "rock of the suir" – suggests, the town is situated on the River Suir. One of its claims to fame is as the home of the Clancy Brothers. The town is connected to Limerick and Waterford by the N24 road and a rail link.
