About Cedric
Raised in El Paso, Texas, Cedric is the former lead-singer of the seminal post-punk/hardcore band At the Drive-In, as well as the current frontman of the acclaimed 'prog'-punk group The Mars Volta.
Frequently linked with close friend and collaborator Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, the pair have played (and often lived) together since their teens in At The Drive-In, The Mars Volta, and their (now defunct?) 'dub' side-project, De Facto. In addition, Cedric appears on Omar's first solo album, "A Manual Dexterity," released in 2004 by Gold Standard Laboratories.
