Chamaeleon - Definition and Overview |
Chamaeleon (Latin for chameleon) is a minor southern constellation that was included in Johann Bayer's Uranometria, but may have been in use somewhat earlier.
History
Since it is an invention of the 17th Century, and was not visible to early mediterranian cultures, there is no mythology associated with it.
