Charlotte Green - Definition and Overview

Charlotte Green is a British radio announcer and news reader for the BBC's Radio 4. The main programmes that she is involved in are The Today Programme, PM, and the Shipping Forecast. She regularly reads the amusing clips on The News Quiz, and her voice is frequently imitated by Jan Ravens on the radio version of the BBC comedy sketch show Dead Ringers, saying things that one wouldn't expect of the real Charlotte, often in the style of the Shipping Forecast.

She attended the University of Kent at Canterbury before joining the BBC.

She was voted the "Most Attractive Female Voice on National Radio" in a poll conducted by the BBC's Radio Times publication.
