Chelmsley Wood is a large council estate in Solihull, West Midlands, with a population of approximatley 40,000. It is located near Birmingham International Airport. There are several bus routes linking the town with Birmingham, located about 8 miles away.
Chelmsley wood is a relativley new town, which was built in the 1960's.
