The word chop can refer to:
- a cut of meat, (specifically pork, lamb or mutton) that contains a bone, usually a rib. Chops are normally cooked by grilling, although barbecuing and baking are also common. British comedian Harry Hill uses chops as a kind of currency with which to pay his chief scientist Dr. Finsbury Park using the memorable catchphrase "Will you the pork, or will you the lamb?".
- A short steep water wave with a high frequency found in harbors and lakes. Usually created by wind, but also by the passage of boats.
