Christmas with the Kranks is a 2004 comedy film produced by Revolution Studios and Columbia Pictures. It is based on the 2001 novella Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen.

Plot

The year their daughter goes off to college and decides to not come home for Christmas, her parents, the eponymous Kranks, decide to go off to a tropical locale for a vacation getaway. Because of this, they refrain from setting up Christmas decorations on their house and face ire from neighbors since their street is known for its holiday trappings. Suddenly, when their daughter announces a change in her plans to actually come home for Christmas, havoc insues as the Kranks must change plans right before the holiday.
