Christophe Lambert - Definition and Overview

Christophe Lambert (born March 29, 1957), sometimes rendered Christopher Lambert, is an American-born French actor.

Lambert was born in Great Neck, New York, but moved away when he was two years old. His father was a United Nations diplomat based in Switzerland.

Lambert played in several French films before he played the title role in The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984). With the movie Highlander (1986), Lambert received media attention. He played in all three sequels, and appeared in the televison series.

Lambert was married to the actress Diane Lane from 1988 to 1994. They had one child, Eleanor Jasmine Lambert, born September 5, 1993.
