Christopher Boyce - Definition and Overview |

Christopher Boyce was an American citizen who was arrested in 1979 for selling US spy satellite secrets to the Soviet Union.
He worked for military contractor TRW in California, using his friend Andrew Lee as courier.
The story of their case was told in the best-selling book The Falcon and the Snowman. The book was turned into a movie in 1985 starring Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn.
In 1980 Boyce escaped from a federal prison and carried out several bank robberies before being arrested in Washington. He was released in 2003.
