Chữ nho (字儒) is one of the Chinese based writing systems used for writing the Vietnamese language. Other scripts, like hán tư – which was more sinicized – and chữ nôm – which was more vernacular – have been used over the centuries. Nowadays only quốc ngữ is still in use.
