Chuck Dukowski is the stage name of Gary McDaniel (Febuary 1, 1954)
He was a founding member and original bass player for Black Flag. He stopped playing bass before the recording of My War to become the band's tour manager, though he still wrote some songs. He continued to play in SST "supergroup" October Faction, and formed his own band SWA in 1985 with Merrill Ward of Overkill.
His pseudonym is a tribute to poet Charles Bukowski.
He appeared in the documentary The Decline of Western Civilization.
