Chuck Klosterman was born on a farm near Wyndmere, North Dakota. He is the author of two books, a humourous memoir on the phenomenon of hair metal, entitled Fargo Rock City, and a collection of pop culture essays, entitled . He is currently a senior writer for SPIN Magazine.
