Claremorris (Irish: Clár Clainne Mhuiris) is a town in County Mayo, Republic of Ireland with a population of around 2,500. The town is situated in the west of Ireland, and is connected by rail to neighbouring Westport and Ballina, as well as Dublin.
Claremorris also serves as a railway junction with the now disused line to Sligo and Galway/Limerick. A campaign, dubbed West-on-track, is underway to have the line (the Western Railway Corridor) reopened.
