Clichy (often called Clichy-la-Garenne or Clichy-sur-Seine) is a city in France, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine.

The headquarter of the L'Oréal Group, the world's leading company in cosmetics and beauty, is located in Clichy.

History

Clichy was the capital of the Merovingians during the rule of Dagobert I.
