Colin James Hay (born June 29, 1953) is an Australian musician who made his mark in the 1980s as a member of the group Men at Work.
Colin was born in Saltcoats, Scotland. He moved to Australia at the age of 14 with his family. In 1978, Colin met Ron Strykert and started an acoustic duo. Colin and Ron became Men At Work after the addition of Jerry Speiser, John Rees, and Greg Ham. The group produced their debut album in 1981, Business as Usual. Following the break up of Men at Work in 1985, Colin released two major label solo albums, Looking for Jack (Columbia) and Wayfaring Sons (MCA), to limited commercial success.
