The "Collegiate School" was also the name under which Yale University was founded in 1701

The Collegiate School is an all-boys private school in New York City. It is the oldest school in the United States and was founded in 1628 by the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church as a school for children of Dutch colonists. Notable alumni include John F. Kennedy, Jr. and David Duchovny.
