Colwinston (Welsh: Tregolwyn) is a village in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.

Colwinston is known for the medieval church of St Michael and All Angels, subject of a major restoration project to celebrate the millennium. Close by is St David's Church-in-Wales Primary School, the Village Hall, and the Sycamore Tree Inn. Colwinston has its own community council with seven elected members.

Colwinston trivia: The novelist Agatha Christie was a frequent visitor to the village, where her descendants still live.
