Colwyn Bay (Welsh: Bae Colwyn) is a town in Conwy, North Wales. It is a seaside resort, lying on the north coast and the A55 road.
Attractions in Colwyn Bay include its pleasure pier and zoo. Famous people from the town include Terry Jones and Timothy Dalton. Also, DJ John Peel attended Rydal, a private school in the town, and MP Alun Michael attended a grammar school.
Colwyn Bay hosted the National Eisteddfod in 1910, 1947 and 1995.
