The Commerce Guild was a group of major corporate institutions that have come together to protect their pursuit of profits. The Commerce Guild is lead by Shu Mai. In the Star Wars movie , Attack of the Clones , Shu Mai was present in a meeting of Separatist leaders in Geonosis. She knew that support of the Separatists would be amount to treason but she could not resist the lure of promised wealth. She allied herself with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars and supplied armies of Droids to them. Products of the Commerce Guild include the dwarf spider droid and the homing spider droid.
