Cookridge is an outer suburb of north-west Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is a mixture of suburban, twentieth-century council housing, and sometimes quite grand private housing. Traces of a roman road exist between Cookridge and Bramhope. Apart from a few farms, the original part of the area was developed as Cookridge Village in the 1930's and was developed by a number of local builders. Cookridge Hall is a grand building which was formerly a stately home and is now a leisure club and golf course. Nearby places include Adel, Holt Park, Tinshill, Horsforth and Bramhope.
