In the fictional Star Wars , the Corporate Alliance is the negotiating body for several of the galaxy's largest commercial firms. The Corporate Alliance also had a strong influence in the Senate in the last days of the Republic and was represented in the Senate by its Magistrate Passel Argente. During the Clone Wars , the Corporate Alliance supported the Confederacy of Independent Systems with the promise of unlimited profit under a new government. One of the Corporate Alliance's major contributions to the Separatist cause was the Tank Droid.
