CortiSlim - Definition

CortiSlim is a weight loss system marketed by Window Rock Enterprises. It is formulated by Dr. Shawn Talbot, PhD. The CortiSlim tablets, part of the weight loss plan, contain vitamins, minerals, and various plant extracts. The company originally claimed that CortiSlim tablets aided weight loss by reducing levels of cortisol, a stress hormone. However, in October 2004, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) alleged that marketers of CortiSlim and CortiStress were making false or unsubstantiated claims in their advertising. Since then, the company has changed their marketing claims.
