Creal Springs is a city located in Williamson County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 702.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 702 people, 292 households, and 186 families residing in the city. The population density is 273.8/km² (709.1/mi²). There are 318 housing units at an average density of 124.0/km² (321.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.29% White, 0.14% African American, 0.57% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.28% from other races, and 1.42% from two or more races. 1.71% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 292 households out of which 25.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.9% are married couples living together, 13.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.3% are non-families. 32.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.28 and the average family size is 2.94.
