Criminal record is the central register of police, which includes mostly only prison punishments. Data is used for criminal sanctions and also to figure the realiability of a person.

There comes a criminal record, when a person gets following penalty:

  • suspended sentence or unconditional sentence of imprisonment
  • community service
  • youth punishment or instead of it a fine
  • removal from office
  • is left without punishment because not being criminally responsible due to a mental disorder

Other than the above-mentioned punishments won't make a criminal record.

Removal of records

It depends of the grade of a punishment, when the information is removed from criminal records.

5 years

  • suspenced sentence, community service, youth punishment or instead of it a fine
  • removal from office
  • community fine

10 years

  • two years or lesser unconditional sentence of imprisonment
  • community service punishment

20 years

  • over two and five years or below unconditional sentence of imprisonment
