Crossbost, (Scottish Gaelic: Crosbost), a linear crofting and fishing village in North Lochs, Lewis, lies at the mouth of Loch Leurbost immediately to the southwest of Ranish, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Leurbost and 6 miles (10 km) south southwest of Stornoway. With Ranish, Crossbost occupies the neck of Aird Ranish. The settlement has two churches, including the Lochs Parish Church, and a pier.
