Curbing is a relatively modern method of "messing people up". It is commonly used by gangs all over the world to kill their victims. The curbing proceeds as follows. First, the group of people beat the victim unconscious. Then, the group proceeds to transport the victim to the nearest sidewalk edge. The group lies the victim on his stomach and opens the mouth. The group lines up the victims mousth with the 90 degree angle of the sidewalk. This should appear (to an innocent bystander, or anyone else, for that matter) as if an unconscience man is biting the edge of the siewalk. The group then proceeds to bang on the victim's head. This can be done using one's foot (via stomping on the back of the head) or a baseball bat (via hitting the back of the head with the bat). A universal result is a large amount of blood, usually landing on the pavement in a "splattered" formation. Also common are bits of cranial matter. The act of curbing almost always results in the victim's death. This sort of gang violence is commonly associated with, and often related to, driveby shootings, beatings, and rapes.
