Damien Duff (born 2 March 1979 in Ballyboden, Dublin) is an Irish football player. He is a midfielder (more precisely a winger) who plays club football for English Premiership power Chelsea and internationally for the Republic of Ireland. Duff joined Chelsea from Blackburn Rovers. In the early part of the 2004-2005 season, Duff formed a powerful partnership with Chelsea's other left winger, Arjen Robben; with the two players switching sides from wing to wing and terrorising premiership defences.
