Arthur Daniel Miller (b. December 24, 1944) is a former Canadian politician and member of the New Democratic Party of British Columbia (NDP). He served briefly as interim leader of the NDP and Premier of British Columbia in 2000-2001. First elected to the BC legislature in the 1986 election, he served in the cabinet of Premier Glen Clark under a variety of ministries. In 1992, he became deputy premier. He was elected interim leader of the BC NDP by an emergency meeting of the provincial caucus following the sudden August 25, 1999 resignation of Premier Clark. He served as acting premier until Ujjal Dosanjh was elected party leader and thus premier by a formal party convention on February 24, 2000. In 2003, Miller supported Bill Blaikie's bid to become leader of the federal New Democratic Party.
Dan Miller is also the name of a Congressman from Florida in the United States. Dan Miller is also a guitarist who is currently (as of 2004) working as a backing member of They Might Be Giants. Originally of Rochester, New York, he is one of three Dans in They Might Be Giants' "Band of Dans"
