Dana is a fictional character on the television show Angel. She was played by Navi Rawat (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0712550/).
Dana appeared in the episode Damage.
When she was ten, her family was murdered and she was severely tortured. She was then confined in a psychiatric hospital. At the time of Chosen she began to exhibit the physical and psychic powers of a Slayer, but remained insane. She escaped several months later. During and after her escape she injured or killed several innocent people.
Dana mistook Spike for the now-dead human who had tortured her. She captured Spike and sawed off his hands. Angel later apprehended Dana but Andrew and a squad of Slayers then took her into their custody.
