Dave Gibbons - Definition and Overview

Dave Gibbons (born April 14, 1949) is a British artist of comic books.

Gibbons is best known for collaborating with Alan Moore on the comics series Watchmen. He is also known for illustrating stories in the comics anthology 2000 AD, and as the co-creator of Rogue Trooper. Amongst Doctor Who fans he is known as the original artist on Doctor Who Weekly/Monthly, drawing the lead comic strips for most of the issues from #1 until #69. He also contributed to the 1994 Revolution Games title Beneath a Steel Sky
