David Cross - Definition and Overview

David Cross is an actor and comedian. Originally a writer for the short-lived The Ben Stiller Show on 20th Century Fox, he had the chance to work with Bob Odenkirk, with whom he later co-hosted the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David. He now co-stars as Tobias Fünke in Arrested Development. He has also appeared in numerous films, including Men in Black, Ghost World, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Cross also performs stand-up comedy. He has released two CDs to date, Shut Up You Fucking Baby and It's Not Funny. In 2004, Shut Up You Fucking Baby was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

In 2003 Cross released his first tour film entitled Let America Laugh (ASIN B0000DJYMO).

In 2004 Cross provided voices for a Marine in the Xbox game Halo 2, and a store clerk named Zero in the PS2 game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Both characters were often whiny and humourous in nature.
