David Wenham (Born September 21, 1965 in Marrickville, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian movie and television series actor.

Television credits include several telemovies, and a role as the outwardly laid back but deeply enigmatic Diver Dan Della Bosca in the 1998 and 1999 seasons of the highly successful ABC Television series Sea Change.

In film, Wenham starred in Molokai, based on the life of Father Damien. His most notable film role was in the Peter Jackson movies The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King as the fictional character Faramir, son of Denethor. He was also seen in Van Helsing as the Friar Carl.
