Dawson Creek is a small city and seat of the Peace River Regional District of British Columbia, Canada. As of the 2001 census, the city has a population of 10,755.
The city is a transportation center, being at the intersection of several highways, including the southern terminus of the Alaska Highway. Other important highways include British Columbia provincial highways 2, 49, 52, and 97.
