De-Lovely is a 2004 film that chronicles the life of songwriter Cole Porter. Directed by Irwin Winkler, the film stars Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd.
The film is made up as a rehearsal of a musical telling the famous composer's life and takes place on a musical stage as well as in several locations of his life; it focuses especially on Porter's love life and his homosexuality.
The title is taken from the lyrics of one of Cole Porter's songs.
